Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
There were many kids in our family. My childhood was during WW II. I remember we were evacuated and then return to a destroyed Kyiv. I entered school for girls. I was a good student – I loved geography, history, literature. I took part in all school activities. I graduated from the university majoring in economics.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
In 1980s-1990s I worked at the Project Institute and later at the Ministry of Construction Materials taking positions in leadership. Focus of my job was improving housing conditions of science workers, social issues, development of the field. I worked hard and was pleased with my job.
Tell about your present life.
In 2014 I became a widow. My husband died at the age of 93 after he had been bedbound for 6 years. He took part in WW II. I have had three surgeries as a result of which a number of diseases was developed – poor immune system, poor hearing and vision, chronic diseases. My daughter takes care of me. Also Sergeyeva, a lady from our church, is my Stephen minister.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I do. I have been keeping His commandments since 2015. Faith in Him has brought me through difficult times in life and I hope will help me live through this war.
