Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

I was born in post-war time. My father returned wounded from the war and got the 2nd degree of disability. He died at the age of 55. My mother died at the age of 84. I have a younger sister, the older one died. I helped our parents around the house. I finished 10 years of school.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

I worked as a secretary and later as an inspector and the Traffic Inspection. I graduated from the University and worked as an economist at the Bus Station Office. Later I worked as a financial expert at the cement manufacture. Wherever I worked I had very friendly staff. I was pleased with my job and did it well. Work conditions were good.

Tell about your present life.

I am 69. I have two sons who have their families and jobs. My younger son and his family sometimes live with me. I have three grandkids. I often get sick. Praise God I am in St. Paul Church and can come to church and study the Word of God. Since February 24, 2022 we have another trial – the war. I pray for our soldiers and victory.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

My faith started when parents took me to church as a child. Then when I worked sometimes at lunch breaks I could hear my colleagues reading and discussing the Bible. I read my Bible at home.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

Rebekah Winnes from Montana is my sponsor. I pray for her and thank her and all our sponsors who support us and all our people in this difficult time of war. You take care of us and we share the same spirit. Let Christ’s warmth be with you. Strength and courage of our soldiers tells us that we are a great nation. And we will win this war. So my kids and grandkids will live in the prospering Ukraine with faith in God.
