Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
My childhood was not easy. During the war we had to leave home. When we got back to our village we saw our house totally destroyed. So we moved to our relatives to another village. My mother was working at the collective farm so soon we could move into a small house. Then we lived through the famine.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
I finished only 7 grades in school and then moved to Kyiv to my aunt’s. I studied some to become a seamstress, then I worked at a big factory. Later I finished school and received more training to become a cashier at the shopping center. Then I was working in sales in that store and before retiring I was cleaning it. I was pleased with my job.
Tell about your present life.
Now life is hard. Pension is very low – it is not enough to buy food and medicines. Before we used to have free medical care, but now you have to pay for everything. And it is impossible because one must also pay for housing bills. So I have to go and ask for help. Otherwise, how to live?!
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I believe in Jesus. God lives with me. He helps me with everything I ask for.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
I know my sponsor and think he knows everything about me.
