Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
I was born in a village. My both parents were workers so I was used to work since I was a kid. My mother’s mother lived with us. She was 100 years old. We had a cow and geese. I started school when I was 6. Later we moved to Novovolinsk – it is a town in our region, there I finished school and entered a Polytechnic University.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
I started working when I was 16. I was working and studying at the same time. I divorced my husband because he was cheating on me. I was a single mother to our son. In 1971 I graduated from the University and was sent to Kyiv to work at a big plant. The manufacture was harmful to health there so first I had to move to a different department and later I moved to a magazine publishing house where I worked till my retirement.
Tell about your present life.
I have been often sick and have had multiple surgeries. I have problems with my legs – I can hardly walk. I have sugar diabetes and high blood pressure with complicated heart issues. Life has become much harder because prices for groceries, medicines and utilities are getting higher and higher. I am very thankful to our Mission that helps us both spiritually and materially – it is very vital help. I believe the time will come when we will finally live in peace with God’s help. Praise God I have a son and a grandson who is now on the front line.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I have been believing in Jesus, our Lord and Savior, since my childhood. I joined St. Paul Church in September, 2012 and since I stay in the body of believers where I worship God. I am very thankful to God for this opportunity.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
My sponsor Kevin R. needs to know that I am very thankful to him and to the Lord. I know God and live with Him in my heart. I am thankful for help and care. I wish I could see everyone – Roger and Diane, Wes and Kim. I am thankful to our church ministers for wonderful worship services.
