Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

My post-war childhood was hard. My father was killed in WW II in 1943. In one room there lived my grandmother, mother, her brother and me. My mother’s brother was rescued from the burning tank – as a result he could not see. At the age of 10 I started doing skating. When I finished 8 years of school I entered technical college to become a seamstress.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

In 1964 my husband got a job in Kyiv so we moved there. I found a job at a local huge plant. My work conditions as well as sport and rest time were wonderful. At the factory I worked for 35 years: I started as a drawer and retired as a head engineer.

Tell about your present life.

Just like everybody else I have a hard life now. My husband died in 1997. Then in 2018 my grandson suddenly died at the age of 35. I live alone and try not to be a burden.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

My grandmother used to take me to church. I new all major church celebrations. But as I grew up our leaders did not allow people to go to church. I have visited lots of “holy places” – in 2010 I was in Jerusalem. God has been guiding me through life since my childhood.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

I would like to wish our sponsors good health and peace. Now life is very hard – emotionally, physically and financially. Medicines are very expensive. I had two surgeries on my eyes, but it did not resolve my health issue.
