Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

There were three kids in our family. It is good that our grandmother was living with us because she was doing all the house- work. Both our parents had disability status so we received free lunches at school and it was important.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

After finishing school I went  to Kyiv to enter a technical college. I got a profession in the field of processing diamonds. In 1969 the first factory that processed diamonds was open in Ukraine in Kyiv. All my life I had worked at this factory taking different positions. For my good work I received many rewards and thank you letters.

Tell about your present life.

When I retired I started taking care of my grandkids taking them to daycare and school. Now life is har not only for pensioners but also for young people because of the war. Ukrainians are now scattered all over the world. But I believe that with help of our Lord Jesus Christ we will win this war. With all of my heart I thank Elen Richards and other American brothers and sisters for material and spiritual help to me and our church. I pray for the end of the war  and peace in our country.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I believe in Christ since my childhood. I received the gift of faith from my grandmother. I remember her taking me to church – I had serious problems in school after my teachers learnt about this. In 2014 I came to St. Paul Church where I learnt a lot about Jesus. My world view changed due to my growing faith. I love God and try to help other people.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

Dear Elen Richards, let God bless you in everyday life, with good health, faith and hope. Thank you for your help and greetings.  Thank you for your love for people. God’s blessings to you and your family and friends. Let your dreams come true. I pray for you and want to learn more about you. Sincerely, Nadia. P. S. I have a daughter and a son, two grandkids, Anna and Alexander. My granddaughter has a family and my grandson is finishing the 10th grade.
