Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

I graduated from two universities, majoring in economics & engineering and medicine. I used to work in different areas. After serving in the Soviet Army I developed some uncurable sicknesses. I had had more than 10 jobs. I was a good expert, but system in general did not work – as a result I had to quit every job because of conflict situations. It was hard to be pleased with your jobs, because things were not done fairly.

Tell about your present life.

I have the 2^nd degree of disability. All my life I have been relying on God and myself.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I have a unique religious biography. My father’s parents were Orthodox priests (from them my last name is derived). My mother’s parents were Baptist, and my mother’s mother would not tolerate anything Orthodox. In medical field a person’s attitude to faith is well seen. As for me, a doctor without faith in God is not able to cure his patient.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

I do not like to speak about myself. I will just say how I am different “religiously”. At my home there are many Christian books written by authors of different denominations. Each religion has sincere and honest followers as well as “pharisees”. I judge people not by their words but by their works. My faith is close to the one my beloved grandmother had: she never hurt anyone, never said a lie and was very careful in the way she expressed her thoughts. She did not speak about God much, prayed a couple of times a day and went to church once a week.
