Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

My childhood was taken by WW II – it was cold, sometimes we did not change clothes for months and one could see frozen water in the glass standing in our room. We were hungry. It is painful to recall that time. I grew up with a brother. Both my parents and the brother died, but I keep warm memories of them.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

I worked as an architect, artist and a designer in the area of architecture. I graduated from the University majoring in architecture. My job was my hobby and passion – I loved it. Work conditions were good.

Tell about your present life.

I receive pension and it is small. I used to paint and compose poetry but it is in the past since I am sick now – high blood pressure, stomach ulcers and other age diseases. Art used to distract me from life problems.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I believe in Christ since my childhood. My mother was very religious and she taught me everything I know. I remember how she was praying during the war and the Lord kept us alive.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you

I think my sponsor need to know what I am, my age and about my life. I am very artistic. Even now I write some poetry. It warms my heart. I love nature. I live in a beautiful place surrounded by a big park (unfortunately, I cannot go outside often) and like to write about nature. I love music and folk art. I cannot do many things any longer but memories of the past warm my heart. I would like to thank my sponsor for care and help – it is nice to know that someone take care of you and you are not alone. You do a great job and the Lord will bless you! I wish you good health, happiness and well-being. Now situation in Ukraine is hard but with Lord’s help we will win! He is with us! Praise be to Him!
