Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
My childhood memories are vivid and pleasant. We had a big family – my mom, dad and three girls. I was happy to study and graduated from school with good grades. Then I went to study at the College of Textile Industry in Kyiv.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
After graduating from college, I worked in a shoe factory for 25 years. I was a shoemaker for women’s shoes. The work was interesting, I really enjoyed it. After our factory was closed, I went to work at an asphalt and cement plant in the sales department. I also liked working there. I worked there for 19 years until I retired.
Tell about your present life.
Now my life situation is not good. There is a war in Ukraine, and we have no opportunity to go anywhere. I started having health problems. Because of all the worries. There are a lot of different disturbing thoughts in my head all the time and it affects my general physical condition. Now I live alone. My husband died at the factory 23 years ago. My son lives separately, he has three children. There is no one to help me now. I put all my hope only in the Lord.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
When I retired, I wondered what I should do next. And the first thing that came to mind was that I should take the path of faith in God. Through repentance, I now have salvation in Jesus Christ. I have been following the Lord for 10 years now and I am very happy about it.
