Description
Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
My parents and an older sister were Christians. They brought me to faith. They were God-fearful, prayed and kept His commandments. I was a good student in school in 1944-1954 and later graduated from Pedagogical University in 1959.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
I am a teacher of Ukrainian language and literature. When I graduated from the University I was sent to work in Boarding School #1 in Kyiv. Now it is a well-known school of Oriental languages (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc.). First 11 years of my work there I was an educator and then became a teacher. I worked at that school till I was retired at the age of 75. My work conditions were wonderful. I love kids so I enjoyed my job.
Tell about your present life.
In 1985 I became a widow. I have a son named Igor, a daughter-in-law, Ludmila, granddaughter Anna and a great granddaughter Nadia. They are in Spain now. A year ago I broke my leg. The surgery did not go well. Now I cannot go outside. My neighbors take care of me as well as my former students and members of St. Paul Church. I put all my trust in the Lord and thank Him for my long and happy life He gave me, for spiritual, moral and physical support. I thank for love and warmth of those Americans who take care of us. I pray for you and wish you good health, success and peace in your hearts.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I am a believer in Christ, especially since 2017. I read my Bible and try to follow God’s commandments.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
I thank my sponsor and MMK for being a part of my life. Every morning and every evening I pray for them and now wish you Merry Christmas. I thank God for my life that I enjoy. I take every new day from the Lord as my birthday. I pray for peace in Ukraine based on the Book of Psalms. I adore Christ, the Almighty God of Ukraine and King of the world. I believe He is the one who will bring peace and victory to Ukraine. I thank all people in the US who take care of us, Ukrainians, with so much love and warmth. Merry Christmas, Amen!
