Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
I was born in a big family – I had 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Our father was killed in WW II. We lived with our mother. Life was very hard. We had shortage of food and clothing. Our mother had to work hard to provide for the family. My older brothers and sisters had to help her.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
When I was 18 I started to work and the same time I was studying in the evenings in the college of clothing manufacture. First I work as a seamstress and later became the head of the atelier. After collapse of the USSR I became a book-keeper and worked for different organizations.
Tell about your present life.
I am a widow. I live alone. I have a son. I have many problems with my health: bronchitis, sinus infection, diabetes, high blood pressure, gall-bladder stone. My Covid experience was very hard – now I have breathing and walking problems as a result. I do not work. My pension is not big.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I was always interested in matters of religion. I had no Bible. In 1980 I met an American astronaut who said that when he landed on the Moon he left the Bible there. So I became very interested in the Bible. I started reading it and through the reading I accepted Christ.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
I am very thankful to the Lord for bringing me to St.Paul Church. Roger and Diane were leading pastors of the church then. Those God’s children were sharing God’s love with us. Diane was teaching Bible lessons. Lim was showing us Bible movies. We were learning God’s love and patience to us. We also receive medical help. Our Dr. Vadim is very attentive to us. Not only he checks our vision but he also gives us other medical advice. He is a very caring person. I am very thankful to our sponsors who take care of us. We receive 200 hrv. food vouchers which help us to get groceries whose price is continuously growing. Let God bless our sponsors.
