Description

Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

I was born in a small town. I stayed with my parents till I turned 2. It happened because my father left us and since my mother had a disability status she was not allowed to take care of a child as a single mother. Then I was put in the orphanage. Later I was moved to a boarding school.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

I have not had a job since I have disability status. My eyes can hardly see. I live in a special facility for old people (note: two more of our MMK pensioners live there – those people are quite old and have no families).

Tell about your present life.

In the place where I live now I am supported by our country. But most important support is from MMK. I am thankful to God for our sponsors – for their help at such hard time. Let God bless America richly.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I have believed in Christ for 18 years now. During my walk with Christ He has never let me down, He always hold my right hand. I am very thankful to Him. My life is easier due to Him. I give him all my fears and worries and trust in Him for my future.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

I want my sponsor to know how God has been working in my life. God know what would happen in our country. Before the war in 2014 He moved me out of Lugansk where I was in a hospital. I had to go to Kyiv for an eye surgery. Such operation could be conducted only in Kyiv then. When I came to Kyiv, the war started and I could not return to Lugansk. I am very thankful to God – it was He who moved me out from the war zone and gave me a place to live in Kyiv. All the glory be to Him. Every night at 6 pm. three of us pray for the victory of Ukraine. I am thankful to God for His help. Sincerely with thanksgiving, Aida.
