Description
Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
My childhood was good. I had an older sister – she is with the Lord now. I stay in close touch with my brother and his kids and my sister’s kids. I used to play accordion but gave it up after school.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
I worked at a publishing house first. It was a central place for publishing local newspapers – I loved putting letters and then words together. I was a good job for that time. Then I moved to work at the factory as a radioman. There were many workers in our department, each of us had his table and a fan. We were putting pieces together. I enjoyed this work too. Its conditions were good.
Tell about your present life.
My husband died 19 years ago. I love alone. My daughter and grandkids often visit me. My daughter cooks for me, does grocery shopping, cleans the apartment. I praise God for my kids. I have lots of health issues but I do not complain not to make God angry (it’s a common idiom in Ukraine meaning “not everything is that bad, be patient, cheer up”). Every day is to be lived with thanksgiving for what God is giving us.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I believe in Christ since my childhood. Both my mother and a grandmother were believers so I learnt well that God is and He helps us.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
I do not complain but I am in a difficult situation now because lots of money is spent on medicines. Every day I thank God for help from our sponsors especially now at time of war. I also have two cats who encourage me. Twice a week my daughter brings them cats’ food. That is all about my love. Praise God for everything. I thank our sponsors for their help – let God keep you.
