Description
Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
My father was Orthodox, my mother – Catholic. They did not have kids for 14 years. So when I was born I was called a miracle child. My whole childhood was about studying. I skipped elementary school I started in middle school. I was also in music school (violin). Ballet studio. Radio electronics club. Gymnastics, swimming. Technical college, technical university. Polytechnic University, University of Technical Progress and master degree.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
First I worked at the Project University. Then I joined the army. I was wounded in 1956 in the military conflict in Hungary and had to return to studying and working. At the age of 30 I took a position of the main engineer of the military industrial complex of the USSR. It required more education so I enjoyed studying more areas of technical science. Then I would often speak to God who healed my military injury and inspired me to do my favorite job. I was the head project manager for the most secret military factories (one in Moscow, the other one is in Dnepro) – everyone was pleased when we completed our task before the due date. I have 52 years of work experience, 5 patented inventions, 12 rewards.
Tell about your present life.
I am almost 90. I have disability of the 1st group with a number of serious illnesses. And the war.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
Yes, I try to follow Him since my childhood as my mother taught me (she was a committed Catholic believer).
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
It is a 300-year tragedy of Ukraine. Desire of multiple enemies to occupy our blessed land. Our soil is so fertile that during WW II it was taken to Germany in trains. Ukraine is now bleeding in ruins. Hundreds of thousands killed people and broken lives of so many people. Where is justice? Where is great and almighty God? Dear John and Sherly, I have written you three letters but have not heard from you for a while. Sincerely, Leonard
