Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

There were four children in my family. Besides me, there were three brothers. My mother was often ill. My father went through the entire war, he was a special forces officer. Unfortunately, now my three brothers and my father and mother are dead.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

.I worked at an arms factory. The work is hard. At an early age, I started having problems with my joints. I graduated from the Polytechnic University with a degree in mechanical engineering. I worked as a process engineer.

Tell about your present life.

Now I live alone, I have no children. We thought that our parents had already gone through the war and it would not affect us. But we had to evacuate to my niece’s place in Khmelnytsky region because of russia’s full-scale invasion. As we were leaving, we heard fighting and rockets exploding. It was all very scary.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

My grandmother was a believer and she took care of me from a young age. There was no church either, we lived under the communist regime. But my grandmother was a believer, and from time to time a priest would come to our village and serve a liturgy. My grandmother always brought me to communion. I still remember today how she held my hand tightly.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

When I moved to Kyiv at a young age, I started going to different churches. That’s how I found the church where I wanted to go all the time. And in general, wherever I am, wherever I go, I always look for an opportunity to go to church, I feel very calm and protected there. We study the Bible at our joint meetings, and I am sincerely grateful to God for that. I am grateful to God that I got into your support program. I am sincerely grateful to the American people for their help and support. For taking care not only of the body but also of the soul. I communicate with my neighbors, and they also share that in such difficult moments as we live in, they pray to God.
