Story
Bobkova Raisa Ivanovna lives in Kiev. Lives with her daughter Nadezhda. According to Raisa, I realized that not so long ago my daughter separated from her husband and moved in with her mother. My daughter’s name is Nadezhda and she is 60 years old. The pension is 2000 UAH and she is grateful that the Mission takes care of her.
Raisa was born in 1932. She is now 87. She has been in our program since 2004. For 16 years now. But four years, how can not go far. Legs and pressure are very sore. He remembers all the years with warmth. How she came, how she was received. He remembers everyone, hello everyone! She did not particularly talk about her past life, she said one thing that she had a higher education and she worked in one research institute.
When I started asking if I was reading the Bible, all the interesting things started. Raya took out her Bible. It looks like she used it often. Many articles of some sort pasted in, many Bible verses highlighted! But she began to tell me her point of view, which made me very sad. He does not believe that God created Heaven and Earth. There are scientific studies. Then she began to read one of the articles pasted in the Bible about Buddha and say that Christianity is the first degree or level of spirituality, but Buddhism and all that is the second level and it is important. To the question: “What do you think will happen when we die?” , replied .. “Nothing, rot and that’s all.” We discussed a lot, but Raya stuck to her scientific facts. Nadezhda was sitting behind the wall with someone talking on the phone, uttered such a phrase that a woman from the church came to her mother, they are sitting lecturing to each other …
And when she began to read the Bible, Nadya turned on the full sound, as it seemed to me the TV, but that would be a mobile phone, she realized that they were slowly figuratively pushed to the door. I prayed for Paradise and began to go out. On leaving, she thanked Nadia for her hospitality and congratulated her on the birth of her granddaughter and Our Wonderful Lord, Nadia began to tell me that she had recently experienced a micro-stroke and how hard it was for her. Thank God for allowing Nadia to testify about God’s love and pray for her !!! This is how our meeting with Raisa and her daughter Nadezhda ended!
