Description
Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
I was born in the time of the Second World War in 1942. There were 8 people in our family. Dad, mom, 4 boys and 2 girls. We had a very difficult life. We lived in a village very far from the city. It was also a long way to go to school. We took turns doing lessons because of problems with the lighting. I did not do very well at school. However, I was good at math.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
After school, I studied at a vocational school. Then I went to work for a construction company as a plasterer. After that, I worked at a radio factory as a mechanic for 7 years. Then I worked at a railroad plant. It was hard work, but I managed to do it. Now I am retired.

Now I am in Kyiv as an IDP. I came to visit my relatives before the full-scale invasion. And at that time I had a second stroke. It was in January 2022. And suddenly a full-scale war broke out. That’s how I stayed in Kyiv to this day.

I believe in Christ. Throughout my life I have been going to the Orthodox Church. Now I am a member of St. Paul’s Church. I attend a Bible study group. I attend worship services.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
I am 81 years old. I come to church meetings all the time. I talk a lot with people there, tell them about my life, personal things, illnesses. We pray for me, for others who have needs. We also pray for our country, for children and for those who defend our land. I also often go to meetings with pastors. I also help to weave camouflage nets for the military.
