Description

Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

I was born in a family of collective farmers. My father took part in WW II and in 1943 was wounded. My mother worked in a collective farm all her life – work conditions were very bad there. I was an excellent student in school.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

I worked at a collective farm for a year after finishing technical college. Then I worked at a project organization. In 1968 I moved to Kyiv where I got a job in the company constructing Kyiv subway. Work conditions were very hard – some workers were badly injured, others died at construction. As for me, I got injury of my right hand. In 1975 I graduated from the University of Economics in Kyiv. I had worked at different project organizations in Kyiv till I retired in 2000. I was pleased with my jobs.

Tell about your present life.

I have been rather sick for about 10 years – my limbs ache. My wife became a bedbound after she had Covid. She needs to be taken care of.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I believe in Christ. My parents were believers and they brought me to faith when I was very young – ever since I have been following the Lord.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

My sponsor needs to know about the hard situation I am at. I am very thankful to him for his financial presents. I wish him good health and success in everything he does. I pray for my sponsor.
