Description

Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

I was born in an ordinary Soviet family. My father was a hair-dresser and mother was a lawyer. I was the oldest in the family of four kids. I studied in school. My responsibility in our family was to take care of younger brothers and a sister. There was respect and love in our family.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

When I was 17 I started my work at a shoe factory.  It was interesting but very hard to work for 8 hours. In 1970 I got married and gave birth to a son in December of 1971. In 1975 I found a job as a seamstress, later I was promoted and finally became a head of the manufacture department. It was a very responsible and interesting position. In 1979 my second son was born. In 1992 the factory was shut down. I received necessary education to become a book-keeper and then took that position at a coffee-shop till I retired in 2003.

Tell about your present life.

Now during the war I live with my sons. My pension is low and their salaries became smaller but it is easier to overcome hardships together. With all my heart I hope God will give us victory.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I believe in Christ since my childhood. My grandmother was a believer and we secretly were going to church. She told me about Christ. But I got to know real Christ listening sermons of pastor Ruslan, Yuri and Serhiy. We also study the Bible once a week.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you

In 1986 my mother suddenly died. She was the dearest person to me. I was grieving a lot. But life was going on and I had to live for my kids. In February 24, 2022 the war started. There was despair and no understanding – why? For what? It is so difficult to see how our kids, people, soldiers die. I very much hope in our victory. The Lord will protect us and help us in our fight. The good always overcomes the evil. Every day I pray and ask the Lord to punish with justice our Russian enemies. Having our trust in Christ we will win.
