Description
Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
I grew up in the city where I was born. I graduated from high school, college and university.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
I worked at the Avdiivka Coke Plant as an accountant. Then I worked in the HR department there until I retired. I was happy with my job.
Tell about your present life.
Now I live with my husband in Kyiv. Because of the full-scale war, we were forced to leave our home, to leave everything behind just to save our lives. We are IDPs. Now we live in someone else’s apartment for which we pay a lot of money to us, and we use someone else’s things. We had to buy a lot of things. My husband had a stroke and a heart attack in Kyiv. All this treatment also requires money. Now we are not living, but surviving.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I have always believed in Christ. But I really believed only here in Kyiv. He gave me peace, and I have rethought many things. Christ died for our sins and rose again to revive us.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
I went to church not only here in Kyiv. But now I realize that Christ is everywhere, He guides me and He is always with me and He leads me to righteous things. Christ really changes people for the better. Stressful situations happen every day. We have witnessed military operations. Now taking care of my sick husband is completely up to me. There are no relatives around to help. I am very grateful to St. Paul’s Church for the spiritual and material help.
