My childhood was hard because of WW II. My father did not return from the war, my mother did not remarry. I finished 10 years of school in 1955.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
I worked at the factory for two years first – it was very hard. Then I graduated from the university and started working in trade. I worked for different organizations taking leading positions. I have got the 2nd degree of disability (cancer) because I worked at the store in Pripyat’ next to Chernobyl.
Tell about your present life.
I have had two cancer surgeries, a heart attack, a stroke, fell badly twice – as a result, I broke my hands. I am a widow – my husband died 22 years ago of cancer. My son died 22 years ago of a heart attack at the age of 38. I have a daughter and grandkids who do not live with me.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I believe in God. I read my Bible. I have been in church for 15 years. I am rather sick, yet I try to help other sick people with my prayers. The Lord is always with me.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
My sponsor needs to know that I believe in God and is very thankful for the help I receive. I am very thankful to Roger and Diane too – I bow down before them. I am also thankful to all workers of the Mission. I am also thankful to Nadia Yanlonko for visiting me and praying for me.
