Description

Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

I was born in a family of collective farmers. Since I had three younger siblings I was to take care of them. I finished 10 years of school and then a technical college.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

I started working at the collective farm on the field when I was in the 6th grade. Every summer I did all kids of work there. After finishing technical college I worked at the plant as a mechanic for 4 years. After giving birth to my two sons (in 1977 and 1988) I worked at the day care – I loved that job but the pay was very small so I had to leave. Then I got a job at the factory which I did not enjoy. Later I started my small business. It was very had and affected my health condition so I had to quit.

Tell about your present life.

I live with my husband who is very sick. I had pneumonia and still experience its side-effects. The war makes everything difficult. My younger son is at war. I pray for him and for all our soldiers – for their protection and safety.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I came to St. Paul Church in 2016 and in March of 2017 became it s member. I thank God for the opportunity to study His Word And being a part of this church. My younger son lived with us before he was called to the war. He is near Bakhmut. I pray for his safety and for health of my husband and mine so we would see our son alive at home.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

We are Ukrainians and we want to live in our free land. We do not want other land yet we also do not want our land to be taken away from us. Our soldiers are fighting for our freedom and we will get it for sure. Praise God we were not left on our own. Both Europeans and Americans help us. Only God knows what kind of hardships we are going through. I am thankful to Americans who help us overcome our enemy. We will win this war for sure for we want to live in our free and independent Ukraine. Lord, help us to make this desire true. Ukraine will win – it is a common desire of all Ukrainians! I thank God for His help.
