My father was an engineer and my mother was a housewife. There were 8 children in the family. Our parents loved us, and we, the children, respected our parents. I went to a general education school. I also studied at a music school. Then I studied at a music college. And finally, I became a student at the music academy.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
Back when I was a 3rd year student at the Academy, I was invited to work in the Ukrainian Folk Instrument Orchestra. It was the realization of my dream. I loved everything about it. We traveled a lot to different countries. I worked in the orchestra for 40 years. I retired in 2012.
Tell about your present life.
Now I live alone. My husband has been gone since I was young. I have no children either. I used to help my nephew’s family. He has four children. I also helped my niece. Now they are all far away abroad. I have no one left in Kyiv. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, I have not left the city, I have been staying in Kyiv all the time.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
When I was a child, before I started going to school, my grandmother taught me the Our Father prayer. My mother believed in God and respected people of faith. All of us children were baptized in the Orthodox Church, as were our parents. But I was baptized when I was very young. Now I want to be baptized again as an adult.
