Description
Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
I remember myself since 1945. My father was killed in the war. My mother was working in the collective farm all days long. I was growing all by myself. I remember famine in 1947. There was no food at home, the house was very cold. I had no clothes to go to school. Our neighbors were helping us. When I was 16 I started working as a seamstress. I was making warm blankets. After finishing technical college in Chernigiv I became a book-keeper.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
While studying I was working as a cashier, secretary and later a book-keeper. I got married, gave birth to 2 kids, later divorced my husband and moved to Kyiv. In Kyiv I received an apartment. I worked at different places. I was a secretary in the Council of Ministers – there I worked with the minister of religion. Back then there was very strong propaganda of atheism. Later I became an assistant director of the Department of Various Matters. In 1996 I retired. Wherever I worked, I loved it and had great relationships with my colleagues.
Tell about your present life.
I live alone. My daughter visits me. My son is unemployed – he is a drinker.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I believe in Christ. In 2010 I came to St. Paul Church and met Roger and Diane, Natalia Shevchenko, Valentina. I am very thankful to all the wonderful ministers I have met here. I greatly enjoy coming to church, for Christ was, Christ is and He will be forever.
