Description

Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

Both my parents were from Shostka (Sumy region). My mother was a chemist. Since my father was  a military our family had to move a lot. I had a younger brother. I finished school in Shostka and in 1972 I graduated from the University of Economics in Kyiv majoring in engineering and economics.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

  1. Center of Statistics as an engineer and an economist.
  2. Computer Center of Automatics as an engineer and an economist.
  3. Ministry of Science of Ukraine as a leading economist.
  4. Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine as a leading economist.

I was pleased with work conditions but not with my salary – it was sufficient for basic needs for not for good vacation.

Tell about your present life.

I am a pensioner. I am 76. Two years ago I fell in the street and broke a tibia. I have had surgery but still I am disable. I can hardly move around my apartment. I also need a knee surgery. I have diabetes. I have high blood pressure. I take care of 5 cats whose owners  went abroad. I love alone. My daughter who has disability status visits me once or twice a week – she lives in the other part of Kyiv.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I have, I have been following the Lord since I was 45. I have been in St. Paul Church for 10 years. I read the Bible. The Lord helps me with my problems.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

I am very thankful to you for your support and care in this hard time. I have poor health. Prices are growing up very quickly. And my pension is not growing. You understand this and do not leave us in our troubles. I pray for your health and believe everything will be good.
