Description

Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

My childhood was difficult. My father drafted into the army and rilled in action. My mother was forcibly sent to Germany as a slave laborer. I lived with my grandmother, my father’s mother. Our village in Poltava region was burned by the Germans. That happened in the month of September. All that was left of our house was the stove. My grandmother cut down corn stalks from the garden and put them around the stove. That’s how we celebrated our housewarming. Now this history repeats itself – in a much more horrible way.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

After the secondary school, I entered a music college. Upon graduation, I worked for 20 years for the National DUMKA Choir. Then I spent another years working for the National Radio and Television Choir. I liked my work. I am thankful to God for the opportunity to bring people joy and to visit many different countries. My husband, the Honored Artist of Ukraine, worked for the DUMKA Choir as well. He died 8 years ago.

Tell about your present life.

What can I tell about my present life? Our crazy neighbors keep showering us with missiles and bombs. They want to incorporate our country into their empire. But we – ‘’bad Ukrainians’’ – put up resistance. And that’s why they try to destroy us now.

I have undergone two surgeries, for glaucoma and cataract. I have also done heart cardiography and received 5 stents.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I believe in Christ. Only faith in Him keeps me alive.

I am so grateful to the United States for help in these difficult times. May God repay you generously for your kindness and sacrificial spirit. Glory be to God!
