Description

Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

Mu post-war childhood was very hard – we did not have enough food. After finishing school I entered Lviv technical college majoring in banking and finances.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

My first job was a bread baking factory in Lugansk region. In 1967 I moved to Makariv (Kyiv region) where I worked at the state bank. In 1971 I got married. After my first daughter was born I moved to Vasilkiv (Kyiv region) to my husband’s house. And later after the birth of my second daughter in 1979 we moved to Kyiv. Here I worked as a head book-keeper at cybernetics institute. I enjoyed my job. I also  had opportunities to take some side jobs.

Tell about your present life.

In 2000 I had to retire to help my daughter to baby-sit her son since she was still a University student. My both girls have grown up, received university degrees, my grandson is about to graduate from the university. My life could have been better if it had not been my health. Last year I had a stroke and had to stay in hospital for 10 days.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I accepted Christ in 1990. When I came to church I started helping others.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

After the stroke I have to be on medications and it is hard for me financially to buy those. My daughters cannot support me financially, for they struggle financially themselves. So during shortage of money I just do not take all the prescribed medicines. I am very thankful to your church for coving expenses of medical tests. Sincerely with love, Ludmila.
