Description
Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
My parents were engineers. After graduating from high school, I entered the Kyiv Technological Institute of Textile Industry. I got a degree in industrial engineering..
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
I worked at the Academy of Sciences in the Department of Foreign Economic Affairs as an engineer. I liked my job. In recent years, before I retired after a serious illness, I worked in the public sector, also as an engineer.
Tell about your present life.
In 1995, I became seriously ill. I was diagnosed with uterine cancer. I underwent surgery, had radiation, and complications from the treatment process. After leaving the hospital, I did not work for some time. I returned to work later, but part-time. In 2013, my husband died. He was also very seriously ill. He couldn’t walk and was dying of gangrene. We had no children, so I was left alone. I have a sister, but she also has problems with her legs. She can hardly walk. I have two nieces.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
Ever since I was a child, I believed in Christ. Since childhood, I knew the Lord’s Prayer. I have been coming to St. Paul’s Church since 2003. Together with my husband, we attended Bible classes and worship services. After my husband’s death, I continued to go to church, but on my own.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
After I came to St. Paul’s, I began to study the Bible very attentively. I learned a lot about life here and after death. I am looking forward to an eternal life with God in heaven. I praise God for His death and resurrection to pay for our sins. I realized that if I study the Bible, I grow spiritually.
