Description

Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

There is nothing to be ashamed of in my childhood, because I didn’t have one. I don’t remember my father. He was taken to the war front and we never saw him again. We only received a message that he was killed. I know him only from his photo. My mother took great care of me despite all the difficulties, never left me. We were together until her death. I was able to get a secondary education.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

After graduating from high school, I moved to Kyiv. I studied at a technical college. Then I worked at a textile factory. I received state recognitions for good work. After retirement, I worked in a medical institution. Now I have a pension. Unfortunately, my social benefits were canceled due to the martial law. But I have a roof over my head and receive my pension on time. There was no time when I did not work. I have always thanked God for His help in my life.

Tell about your present life.

I thank God that I have lived to be 85 years old. I have the health to live up to my years, and then as the Lord sees fit. Now I live alone. My husband died 10 years ago. He was a surgeon. He helped both adults and children, but he could not help himself. But it is God’s will for everything. I have a son, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson. All of them have higher education. Now, with the war in Ukraine, it is difficult and sometimes impossible to work. I pray to God for a peaceful life on our beautiful land and believe in a beautiful future for our children and grandchildren and a peaceful elderly life for them.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I have had the Lord in my heart for as long as I can remember. My mom would take me by the hand and bring me to church. She was a deeply religious person. She taught me how to pray and follow Him. When I moved to Kyiv, I always went to St. Volodymyr’s Cathedral to pray and ask God for help. Now I attend St. Paul’s Church. Here I met many good people, brothers and sisters. I have friends here. I am grateful to the sponsors and the ministers of the church for the opportunity to study God’s Word together. May God protect everyone for many years to come.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

In addition to learning how to receive peace from God in our church, I also have people who support me. These people were sent to me by God himself. And it is our faith in God that has brought us together. I sincerely thank them for everything.
