Description

Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

I finished 7 years of school then for three years I started in “evening school”. I was a shepherd. Then I finished a technical school to become a driver.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

I worked at a collective farm taking various positions. First I drove water to the workers in the  field, then I worked in the field myself. Then I prepare food for cows. Then I drove this food in the car. I also drove wheat in my car. I participated in lots of collective activities and I was pleased.

Tell about your present life.

I used to have parents and two sisters, but they are all dead by now. When hydro-electro station was being built in Kaniv, our village had to be flooded so we became refugees and moved to Kyiv where I started working as a driver at construction sports.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

When I was a little boy my family was taking me to church. In our village we used to have a very good brick church. The building was very solid – the Nazi could not destroy it.  All my family was believing. And I have been following Christ as well.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

My sponsors are Roger and Reema. We are now like one family in Jesus Christ, both here and in heaven. Christmas greetings to you. I wish you happiness, health and long-living. Also Happy New Year. Let the war finish soon. In the Lord, Peter.
