Description

Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

I was born in post-war time when there was famine. My father took part in Polish, Finish and WW II wars. My mother worked at the collective farm and received no money.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

I worked at a big factory after finishing necessary training. Later after graduation from the Polytechnic University I was an engineer. I enjoyed my job but the conditions were very tough.

Tell about your present life.

The war is the reality we are all living in. All my kids are at war. I take care of my 4-year-old grandson at home. Every night we wait for the news from our families, expect air raids and pray.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I grew up keeping faith. I was the oldest of 6 kids in our family so there were many things I was responsible for. How could I have survived with no faith?! So I keep on believing, hoping and praying.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

Victory of Ukraine! This is one thing all Ukrainians wish now. I want my kids to live in independent prospering Ukraine. I do not want my kids to deal with all the hardships I used to deal with in my life. I want them to study and work in their own country. And I know many countries support Ukraine now. I am greatly thankful particularly to Americans who did not leave us at this hard time. Thank you for your support, for helping us believe, keep hope and fight for our victory.
