Description

Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

My father worked at the fire station. My mother was a house-wife. I finished 10 years of school and then one year of training and became a nurse at a day-care.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

I worked at a local hospital as a nurse and later as a nurse at the operation room. From 1966 till 2013 I worked at the Heart Institute taking different positions: nurse, head nurse and at the statistics department. I was respected at my work. I have many rewards.

Tell about your present life.

In 1969 I got married and moved to Kyiv. When my parents were alive we visited them every weekend to help them around the house and garden. In 2021 my husband died, since that time I live alone. My son lives in Osetiya. My son graduated from the military academy, served in the Far East of Russia and then returned to Osetiya. Before the war he came to visit me every year.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I grew up in a family of believers. We celebrated all Christian holidays and went to church. In 2015 Valentina Kholod brought me to St. Paul Church. I was very happy to be in church and to listen to sermons.  I was operated twice: one kidney and one breast were removed, perhaps because I worked at the X-ray department. I thank God for keeping me alive.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

I had worked hard for 55 years and what? I am 85 now and it is time to die. I thank God for everything.
