Description

Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

Our family was very good. My father was a hard worker and provided for the family. My mother came from a religious family and was a good housewife. I have two other sisters. At first I went to a secondary school, then I went to study at a mechanical college, specializing in office work.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

I worked at a machine-building company in the department of apartment accounting and housing. The job was very responsible, because I had to deal with the original documents for real estate provided by the company that built the housing itself. I worked honestly and did not commit any illegal actions.

Tell about your present life.

In 2007, my husband died. I received an old-age pension. But the amount of my pension was very small, and I was still working in the hospital in the cafeteria. Because of the full-scale war in 2022, I was forced to quit. In 2023, I was diagnosed with colon cancer. Now I have a disability, but my social aid has not been increased.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

From the age of five, I went to the Orthodox Church with my mother. I believe in Jesus Christ. In the 1990s, I began to believe in God more consciously.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

I have been disabled since 2023. I had surgery to remove intestinal carcinoma. For health reasons, I cannot work. Medications are very expensive and I also need to follow a diet. Therefore, I do not have enough money for everything. I also take care of my sister, who had her toes removed because of diabetes. She is also a believer and is part of St. Paul’s Church. I can volunteer to help other elderly people.
