Description

Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

I was born in a family of a military. When I was 3 my family moved to Karaganga (Kazakhstan) where I spent my whole childhood. There I finished public and music school, entered music college. When in 1970 we moved to Kyiv I entered Kyiv State Conservatory.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

I worked at part-time jobs to spend more time with my kids when they were little. Then in 1984 I started working at a choir in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church as a soloist. In 1993 Roger McMurrin started KSOC where I had worked for 20 years. I absolutely loved my music work – it was my occupation and all my life I had been doing what I enjoyed.

Tell about your present life.

Now life is hard for everyone especially for pensioners – pension is small but prices for everything are growing very quickly. Medicines are expensive – I have sugar diabetes. It is hard to pay for utility services. I have a son, but he is unemployed and is not going to help me in any way. My husband died 26 years ago. My older son died 4 years ago. I have grandchildren but they cannot help me.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I have been following the Lord for a long time. Surely I trust in Him. The Lord helps me in my hardships and gives me hope when I talk to Him.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

Many times I was on tour with KSOC in the US. We were staying in different families and always were very graciously received. I value openness and kindness in people a lot.
