Description

Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

I was born in a family of 4 kids – I had a sister and two brothers. After school I finished two technical schools and later graduated from Kyiv University of Trade and Economics.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

For the first 16 years I worked as a book-keeper at one major restaurant. And then I worked as an economist at the organization that served many restaurants as an economist. Totally I had worked for nearly 39 years. I was very please with my work. The Lord blessed me with many wonderful kind people who helped me a lot when I had small experience.

Tell about your present life.

Currently I am retired. I do not work any longer. I have had surgeries on both eyes. I also suffer of high blood pressure. Dr. Vadim helped me with some very necessary medicines for which I am very thankful: he is always very attentive and helpful. I am conducting  quiet living without much stress. St. Paul’s Church provides me with great support – both material and spiritual.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I have been a believer in Christ since early age. But I became really rooted in my faith after I joined St. Paul’s Church. I would like to commit  myself to serving God and people. Christ is the King of the World, Almighty God over Ukraine, He is the King of king, and Lord of lords. Eternal glory be to Him.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

I would like to say that now my faith is very strong. He came to give people salvation, to deliver them from their sins and from the darkness. He is the Light that shows us the only way to God the Father and to the eternity. Ukraine is a Christian country where about 80% of people believe in Christ. We all believe that the Lord will help us to overcome the Russian army that attacked us. There are many military chaplains that serve in our army now and deliver the Word of God to our soldiers and give them assurance that He will help us to overcome the enemy and return the territories of the East of Ukraine and Crimea that belong to our country. Ukraine is a friendly country and want to have good relations with all the countries and different Christian denominations. Also I would like my sponsor to know that it was our church that helped me with my eye surgery. Without this help I would not have afforded this surgery. I cherish wonderful memories of Roger and Diana, Natalia Shevchenko – their help has been great for our church. In my life I thank God – the Father, the Son, the Spirit – for everything. Praise be to Jesus Christ.
