Description
Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
My father worked at the factory and mother was a house-wife. I entered the University of Clothes Manufacture in Kyiv – I studied in evening hours and worked at a shoe factory at day time.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
After graduating from the University I became an engineer and a designer and remain working at the same factory in the department of women’s shoes. Later I started working on the research in the area of labor in chemical industry, then at the Central Office of Technical information in Clothes Manufacture. While working at the factory I received further training in my area and computer science. It was very interesting to study. Work conditions were good – warm offices, good restaurant for workers. Now the factory and all the organizations I used to work at are not there.
Tell about your present life.
On one hand, everything is good because the Lord is with us. I have a sponsor and the church helps me. On the other hand, the war with its shelling, bombing, air raids, unstable power and water supply is terrible. My health is poor, I walk with a cane. I live like in a tunnel, I cannot see what is coming. But the Lord knows.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I believe in Christ with since my childhood. My parents were believers and used to take me to church. When I grew up I did not attend church. In 1997 my husband died. We were childless. And when I was invited to St. Paul Church where Roger was a pastor, new era in my life started.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
I am greatly thankful to God and my sponsor for help and care. I pray for her every day and ask God to bless her and her family and friends with good health and long-living. Let everything be good in your life. I wish all people on the earth remember how short this life is and it is important to keep peace. Glory to Jesus, Glory to Ukriane!
