Description
Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
I was born in a family of loving parents. Unfortunately they were non-believers. I had an older brother. Both my parents and brother are dead now. I was a good student in school. I had many friends. After finishing school I entered a medical college.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
I worked at different hospitals as a nurse. Last 20 years before retirement I worked at the surgical department at the Central City Hospital. I greatly enjoyed my job – I loved helping people and have fellowship with them. After accepting Christ, I started sharing the Gospel with my patients. The only disadvantage of my job was low salary – therefore my pension is very small now.
Tell about your present life.
I go through hard time now. I am retired. Because of the war we often do not have water supply. But praise God He keeps us safe. In 2019 my husband died so I live alone now. My health is getting worse so much money is spent on medicines, utility bills and groceries. I live in the rented apartment. I spend most of my time in church.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I believe in Christ, yes. In July, 2011 I accepted Christ and was baptized in “Light of the Gospel” Church. Since then I have been serving in church. I attend Bible study group and twice a week help preparing charity meals in our church.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
In 2022 many of our church members left the town because of the war. Since then I lead “You are not alone” ministry. At the beginning this group was founded for lonely widows. But as we found out there are many lonely people among those who have families. Now it is the last times and it is hard for many people, so all categories of people attend our group. All our members are retired – when the group meets, we have fellowship, sing songs, read and study the Bible. We meet twice a week. We also started a singing group that actively participate in church services. Some of our group members are newcomers and they also attend Bible study group and prepare to be baptized. About 35 people attend our group. We stay in close touch. We attend the sick. So I have written \that what was in my heart. Rich blessing to you all!
