Description
Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
I remember when I was about 5, I was with my mother and my brother seeing my father off when he was taken to WW II. Shortly after the beginning of the war his name was recorded among the lost ones. German soldiers arrived to our village on motorcycles. We were forced to go to a different village where we picked frozen potatoes in gardens to survive. When we returned to our village, we saw that our house was burnt, but school and village administration worked.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
I finished 7 years of school and entered a medical college. I became a midwife. I was sent to work to the Far East of Russia. I got married. My husband entered a university in Kharkiv where we shortly moved. There I worked as a nurse. Later we moved to a town next to Moscow. I worked as a nurse there too. When we came to Kyiv I worked as a midwife. I enjoyed my work since medicine was my calling.
Tell about your present life.
I live alone now. I have always been surrounded by nice people. All my bosses were nice. I respected my patients and did my best to improve their condition and could never thought that I would be in a situation of a needy person – I am sick, have poor vision and hearing. But I do not get discouraged. I read my Bible and go to church.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I learnt about God in my childhood. I remember seeing my grandmother praying. She used to say that God loves us and we should do all things well and thank God for everything.
