Description
Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
Before 1941 our family lived in Kharkiv. In 1941 my father was taken to the frontline and we moved to Siberia since the hospital my mother was working at was evacuated there. In 1946 the hospital was moved to Kiyv as well as our family was. Here I started school and finished it in 1956. In 1959 I finished School of communications.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
I worked at the Institute of Communications for 30 years. I enjoyed my job a lot – I traveled over the whole Soviet Union. In 1989 I retired. I continued to work for short time but because of my mother’s illness I had to quit.
Tell about your present life.
I live with my son – he has disability of the 2nd degree. Last year he became a bedbound. Surely life is not easy at my age. Besides it is hard to take care of a bedbound.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I accepted Christ in the mid of my life when I decided to review my past years. I understood I could not overcome hardships myself – I needed God’s help. Meeting Roger and Diane McMurrin greatly affected my life.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
I do not always understand why certain things happen but trust in the Lord enables me to keep on moving and makes my life easier. My verse now is Psalm 27:14. I am very thankful to you for your material and spiritual support. Let the Lord keep you.
