#68 Surzhik Valentina. February 1, 1944. I was born in Russia, in Voronezh region where my mother was evacuated. After my father was killed during WW II, we returned to the mother land of my mother, Ukraine.

It was post-war childhood. In 1950 my mother remarried and I was raised in the family of my aunt and her husband.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
I graduated from medical university and worked at the hospital. I was pleased with my job.
Tell about your present life.
I live alone. My daughter and a granddaughter were evacuated. My daughter I is divorced.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I believe in our Lord and always talk to him in prayers. I thank Him for the mercy He shows me through other people.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
There have been many hardships in my life mostly those connected to my health. I have always dealt with them with God’s help and my desire to survive. I want to be useful to my family and other people. I am very thankful to people who help me both spiritually and financially.
