Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
My father was taking care of the forest were we actually lived. He was killed in the war. And my mother was to raise my sister and me myself. We were fighting hunger and poverty. I finished school though I had to walk 4 miles one way to get to the school which was in a different village. But we survived.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
After finishing school I went to Kyiv. There I found a job of a radio operator. I was living in a dormitory. I had to work very hard for very little money.
Tell about your present life.
I am elderly now. I have multiple health issues. The hardest of them is sugar diabetes. I am insulin addicted: I have to take two shots a day. My husband died 24 years ago. My son of 54 lives with me. He is not married and unemployed. He is an alcoholic. We live on my pension. I provide for him. Because of him I cannot get any discount for paying for my apartment utilities. So my old years are not easy.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I am very thankful to God for bringing me into ST. Paul’s Church. I accepted Christ here. The Lord brings me through all my hardships. He hears all my prayers and requests. I talk to Him and thank Him for everything.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
Perhaps my sponsor thinks I go to church just to receive material support. It is not exactly true. I am so happy I accepted Christ here. Before I did not go to church, I even had no Bible. Well , then I would go to church only on big celebrations. Now everything is different and I am glad I can experience it all at such age. I am very thankful to my sponsor for his help. It was God who gave me my sponsor from friendly America. I wish my sponsor. I wish him and his family good health, happiness, well-being. Let the Lord keep you!
