Description
Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
I was born and raised in the village. I had a brother. We were raised by a single mother, our father left the family before I was born. Our mother did all her best to make our life good. Our school was in a neighboring village – we had to take a bus to get there. After finishing school I studied at pedagogical university.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
I worked at the specialized school after receiving a university degree. I had to quit my job at school when my husband became a bedbound. My son had a disability since birth so he could not take care of his father.
Tell about your present life.
In March 2022 our house was destroyed as a result of shelling. We had to live in the basement for two months. There was no power. When we lost water supple we had to leave our home. Praise God there was a man from Dneepro who offered us his help – there was a place in his car for a bedbound person. This is how we got out from that horror. It is hard in Kyiv, we rent an apartment here – almost all our funds are spent to pay the rent. We cannot afford buying all the medicines we need but we have to buy those of vital importance. It is a bit easier with food. We receive food packages and food vouchers. We are surviving.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I believe in God since my childhood. My mother told us that once God appeared before her at very difficult time and said it would be good – and the situation was resolved. I used to attend an Orthodox church and now I am at St. Paul Church. I am thankful for the warmth of our meetings. I am thankful for you and for being in this church.
