Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

My mom and dad worked on a collective farm. My mother was very gentle, but my father was very brutal. He drank a lot of alcohol and beat us. I went to a secondary school, then went to medical school. We moved to Crimea. There I got a job as a nurse in a local hospital.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

When I worked in Crimea as a nurse in a hospital, I was satisfied with both the working conditions and the people around me. We all treated patients and each other very well. I love people very much and have always been attentive to their health and problems.

Tell about your present life.

In 1996, I became very ill, received a disability, and have not been able to work since then. Back then, I could barely walk with a cane. I had a long treatment and am still undergoing therapy. In 2002, my husband and I moved from Crimea to Kyiv. In 2012, my husband died and since then I have been living alone. My pension is small, my medicines are expensive, but I do not complain and try to live with what I have. I have a daughter. She lives in the village. She and her husband are also disabled.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I have believed in Christ since childhood. But there was no church in our village. My grandmother gave me a Bible and told me about the Lord. When I lived in Crimea, I turned to the head of the village and together with the local priest we organized a local church. And when we moved to Kyiv, I went to different churches until I found the one where I am now.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

How do I live and fill myself now? I try to help people as much as I can. I’ve never offended anyone in my life, and I’ve tried to help everyone around me as much as I could. Now I help people in need, the military.
