Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
My parents had six kids and one more was adopted – they had to work hard to provide for us: my mother worked in the collective farm and my father was a smith. When I was 13 my mother died. First I lived with my father and later with my brother. When I was 14 I started working at the post-office. I finished high school in Kyiv and started working at construction.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
It was very hard for a woman to work as a brick-layer, but I had to because the construction organization provided me with a place in the dormitory. As a result of hard work I had a surgery on both legs and lost much of my eye vision.
Tell about your present life.
I am 76 now. I became a widow at the age of 54. My son is at war now – I worry for him very much. Because of this stress my health became really bad. I need another surgery on my legs but I am afraid to be operated because there is no one who can take care of me after surgery. I ask God to help me and He does. I believe in His healing.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
In January, 2016 I accepted Christ and thank God for the gift of faith. I came to faith due to Roger and Diane and later Wes and Kim and now we also have committed ministers. I believe in Christ – He has been guiding me through life.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
Roger and Bethe Rymers are my sponsor. Every time I think about them I pray for them. I love them. Let God’s hand be upon you and your home! Thank you for your help – you have been caring for us so well. God’s grace to you for many years!
