Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
I didn’t have an easy childhood. We lived in poverty and I had to work. At the same time, I was getting a secondary education at school. After graduating from high school, I moved to Kyiv.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
To be able to get an apartment, I worked as a janitor. The work was hard. I got married and had a child. My husband was an alcoholic, and he died from it. I took care of my son as much as possible. When he was 18, I found out that he was using drugs. I tried many things to help him, but nothing worked. That’s when I came to God. I prayed for my son for 20 years and pleaded for him. My son went to a Christian rehabilitation center. God freed him from his addiction, and he began to believe in God and serve in the church. Not long ago he got married. Now he has two sons, aged 6 and 8. The whole family is believers, but my son is ill now.
Tell about your present life.
My son has been unable to walk on his own for four years because of his cerebral palsy. His wife has to take care of him all the time and because of this she cannot work. I am 72 years old and have health problems too. Now I have complications after surgery on my leg and therefore I am undergoing long-term treatment. But I always thank God for not leaving us and supporting us.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I really believe in Christ, in His miracles. He freed my son from drug addiction and I believe that He will be able to get him out of bed. I came to the Lord in 1991 and have been walking with Him ever since.
