Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
I had a typical childhood of the war kids. My father was a soldier and from the very first days of the war he was fighting on the Ukrainian border. My mother was 26 then and she was to be with 4 kids herself.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
I was a good student in school but could not enter the University. So I finished technical college and went to work. I had various jobs. The last 20 years of my carrier I worked as a chief of a quality department at the factory.
Tell about your present life.
Even after I retired I continued working. I have total of 55 years of work experience. After my daughter died I moved in with my grandchildren. February 24, 2022 changed everything. My grandson is at war and my granddaughter and her daughter are refugees abroad. I live a lone now. I thank our Mission for communication I have with my brothers and sisters, singing hymns, sermons and prayers for our soldiers and sponsors. God has always been with me!
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I have been close to the Lord since my early years. My mother was raised in a family of a priest, so grandmother used to teach us, children, the Word of God despite all the protests of our father. She did it secretly. So by the time our father came back from the war we, children, had had some knowledge of the Bible and faith.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
Faith in Jesus and His help developed my strong character and enabled me to see the good and the evil clearly. I have always tried to keep God’s commandments, when I break them I ask God for forgiveness. I know God has always been with me. During lifetime I have had serious hardships and the Lord helped me to overcome those. And I also believe that the Lord is with our soldiers helping them to fight against these non-humans who are now threat to the whole world and democracy and peace of Ukraine. The whole world is admiring courage of our soldiers fighting in this cursed war. The Lord helps us. The victory will be ours! Grory to Ukraine – glory to heroes! We thank everyone who helps us. We thank God for His help!
