Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

There were 8 kids in our family. Our mother was a house-wife and the father was taking care of the forest. I finished 7 years of school when my father became blind. So I had to quit school to start working. Later I learnt to become a telephone operator.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

I was 18 when I came to Kyiv. In order to receive permission to stay in the city I had to have a job. I had to pack vegetables at the storage place- it was hard. Then I had worked at the same place for 47 years.

Tell about your present life.

It is hard. In 2022 both my husband and my son died of Covid. Later my other son moved in with me.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

In 2017 I came to St. Paul Church and has been following God here ever since. My mother taught me the importance of going to church.

Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.

About a year ago I lost my husband and my son. The other son is disable. At times I get discouraged but I have to keep on living with God and pray. I am thankful to St. Paul’s Church for help, prayers and support. I am very thankful to our American sponsors for helping us at such hard time.
