Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.
I was born in Kyiv. I spent my childhood under dropped bombs during WW II. My father was a soldier and my mother rescued one Jewish lady (that Jewish lady later helped with my mother’s funeral). Because of continuous stress during Kyiv’s occupation, my mother got sick and died young. I entered Kyiv Choreography College and after 12 years of studied was accepted into Kyiv Opera theater.
Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?
It was a wonderful job. I went on tours to Poland, Romania, Hungary, France, Japan, Monaco, Egypt, Scandinavian countries. Ther was a decade of Ukrainian art and literature in Moscow. My work conditions were great. All my teachers were professional. When I was 40 I retired and worked in the Children’s Ice Skating School and later in Olympic School of Gymnastic. With children’s group “Little Well” we were going to Poland on tours.
Tell about your present life.
I am fully retired now. My pension is very small – I have to survive. I have to fight age diseases. I was glad when I could attend St. Paul Church. I thank all people who participated in establishing this place of worship.
Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
In Soviet time it was not allowed. But now we all returned to our real self. I believe in and know my only Creator and His Son Jesus Christ. This is my life. I am very thankful to our Mission and its staff, especially our veterans: Valentina Yenichek and Serhiy Basarab.
Tell about one thing your sponsor needs to know about you.
I am happy I can study the Bible. I am thankful to all our spiritual leader: Roger, Wes, Pastor Ruslan. I wish my sponsor good health and continuous spiritual growth. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
