Tell about your childhood, school, family, etc.

I was born in a family where everyone knew Jesus as his Savior. We used to see all the trials as God’s blessings and took those with thanksgiving, for everything works for the good for those who love Him. Shortly before WW II my mother was operated (brain tumor). When the occupation of Kyiv started I was 5. Those my mother was sick she taught me to pray and to thank God for everything – this is how we survived the war and the famine.

Where did you work? Was your work good? Were you happy with your job?

I had top start working when I was very young. I was able to work and study at the same time. I had worked long but my pension is very small – half of it is spent on medicines.

Tell about your present life.

My daughter cannot work. We have not paid for utility services for long. My grandchildren’s houses were destroyed by the war. Now they have to reconstruct those. I have two great grandkids.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?

I have been a believer since my birth.
