I was raised by my mother. I saw my father only once when I was two months old. He was in the army then and was allowed to go home to see me . Then in 1944 he was killed in the war. He was 30 then. There was famine after the war. I remember our family receiving American chocolate – it was dark brown, of round shape – so much joy! After the war my mother and I lived in a basement with no windows and fresh air. I was a good student both in school and university.

Have you accepted Christ? How long have you been following the Lord?
I believed in Christ back then when it was forbidden. My mother used to tell me a lot about faith and God. It was in St Paul Church when I first saw the Scripture when Diane was teaching her Bible lesson with so much interest and enthusiasm. I remember then I started reading the Bible. I have been keeping God’s commandments all my life.

I believe in Jesus Christ. Roger and Diane have brought so much light into my life. I cherish wonderful memories of them.
